Job Title: Lean Specialist [Job Code: LS-SI]

Location: 1201 S. Mercury Drive Schaumburg, IL 60193

Job Duties: Implement overall equipment effectiveness tool for critical machines; Implement process variation controls for critical processes; Drive cost saving improvement initiatives for critical production cells; Rationalize machines in specific work departments to improve space utilization; Rearrange equipment to improve product flow, ergonomics and material movement; and Apply the following production and manufacturing processes: metal fabrication, punch presses, press breaks, laser cutting, tube bending, MIG welding and polishing.

Requirements: The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of post-baccalaureate related engineering experience. Additionally, the position requires: i) Experience with Lean Tools, including 5S, Standard Work, Kanban's, and Kaizan; ii) Experience with AutoCAD and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T); iii) Experience with Problem solving using 8D, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Process Capability Index; iv) Experience with Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing concepts and practices.
